FenderFriend

While there are several rope and strap fender attachments on the market, none address the most important issue: what happens when a fender gets caught between the dock and your boat while your boat is still moving forward?

What usually happens is one of three things: the fender rope/strap breaks, your stanchion bends or breaks, or the fender eye rips out. The FenderFriend™, developed by those clever people who brought you the Shockles®, allows the fender strap to stretch and slowly rotate in place, protecting your boat AND everything else.

FenderFriends™ are made of marine-grade tubular nylon webbing that is load rated to 2,500#. They easily attach to any fender style and quickly adjust in length. The loop end will clip onto your stanchions, railings or cleats instantly and they’re guaranteed for life against breakage.

The FenderFriend™ comes in three adjustable sizes—small (16” to 24” for small, low-freeboard boats: $14.95) medium (24” to 48” for bigger boats: $16.95) and large (48” – 72” for large or high-freeboard boats; $18.95) and four colors (royal blue, deep red, sterling silver or jet black).
