Holster That Handle
The
new HandleHolster from Shockles is the perfect stocking stuffer
for the sailor who always seems to be asking, “Where’s
a winch handle when you need one?”
It’s a mesh sock with a rigid, stay-open mouth sewn to a 48-inch quick-release nylon belt. Attach it to a mast, rail, winch or even yourself and you’ll be certain to have quick and easy access to a winch handle. We found the HandleHolster a helpful onboard addition for around-the-can racing where there’s never a winch pocket where you need it. A 10-inch handle fits perfectly in the sock without fear of it falling out, and the soft polyester mesh and rigid mouth makes sliding the handle in and out a no-snag action. The fabric also wicks away water and dries quickly.
Coming back from the races, we also found that two 12-ounce beverage cans fit perfectly in the holster, which can also be used to carry tools, a handheld VHF radio, cleaning supplies, etc. And when the day is done, just slip all your handles into the holster, wrap it up with its own belt and you have a handy handle stow bag.
The HandleHolster comes in gray or blue and sells for $14.95. For more information contact Shockles at (888) 557-6464 or visit www.shockles.com for more details.
